In Memory of the Victims of the August 6 Helicopter Crash in Ghana
We are heartbroken.
Last week's tragic helicopter crash has left us devastated beyond words. As aviation professionals, we dedicate our lives to safety, precision, and service. When something like this happens—when lives are suddenly and unfairly taken—it tears through our hearts and shakes the very core of who we are.
To the souls we lost: we honour you. We grieve for you. You were Leaders, colleagues, fathers, sons, and friends. You had dreams, families, stories. And though your journey's ended too soon, your impact remains—deeply felt and never forgotten.
To the families left behind: there is no comfort great enough to erase your pain, but please know you are not alone. Every single member of the Century Aviation family stands with you in sorrow. The Nation, Ghana stands with you. Africa Stands with You. We mourn with you. We pray with you. And we will walk with you—now, and in the difficult days ahead.
To our Father of the Nation, His Excellency Honorable John Dramani Mahama, fellow aviators, Ghana Air Force and the authorities who have worked tirelessly since the incident—we see your dedication, and we thank you. In the face of grief, your courage has helped hold the country together.
And to the nation we serve: this tragedy reminds us of our sacred duty. To fly safely. To honour life. And to never, ever take a single passenger, crew member, or journey for granted.
